VIN/Cert Label Decode Instructions

The data plate on the Mustang II is officially called the "Vehicle Certification Label" and is located on the rear face of the driver's door.

Fill out the accompanying form to decode your certification label.
To decode your VIN, enter just your VIN in the box labeled VEH. IDENT. NO.
If your VIN tag starts with a script letter "F" do not include this letter. The actual VIN is 11 characters long and begins with a digit.

The format shown is for vehicles destined for sale in the US and may vary slightly from your car's actual label.

Click Here for tips on printing the output.
