Dear Sergio,
Thanks for contacting the Mustang Club of America Web Site. I
faxed your message to Tom Podemski in South Bend, Indiana. He is
the Assistant National Head Judge for Mustang II.
I received 2 faxes from Tom. I would be glad to send these to
you.
The first fax said:
Color 7T Medium Emerald Metallic, a 1977 color called
"unique colors"
DSO 71 Los Angeles
Trim BW W/black Nothing unique - just a black interior {This is
wrong}
Axle 3:00
Tranny Automatic C4
Car was built in Dearborn Mi with a 302 V8
The second fax said:
After further research, the code 7T is a Mustang color only and
only
used in 1977 and the Trim BW is a white deluxe interior with a
black dash, etc.
I hope this helps with defining your car as more
rare. The Mustang Club of America Judging Rules for Mustang II's
can be order from our headquarters.
You can order it by check or credit card. Ask for the Late Model
Judging Book. This book starts with 1974 and covers through 1995
models. Yes, we accept personal checks for membership and
merchandise.
This sounds like a car that should be treasured. My husband and I own a 1978 black King Cobra. It's on our restoration list. I'd like to see more of these cars shown at our National Shows. If I can help you again, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Jean Penn
National Secretary
