About My Car

I aquired the 1978 Mustang II Cobra car from a back yard with grass growing taller than car for 400 dollarsi brought it home and of course got told by everyone that you will neverfinish that piece of junk well it took a lot of time patience bashedknuckles uncontrollable crying 3 engines 2 transmissions but i can nowfeel it is something more than a piece of junk ....

(the body) is painted with PPG base clear Tahition Irid Pearl blue with a touch of red pearl in the clear. The Ghost flames were masked and airbrushed on by my brother in a violet pearl with silver tips along with white pearl stripes.

(the Engine)#3 1989 5.0L roller motor painted in the same color as thecar balanced and blueprinted bored out 30 over a Isky Race cam PeteJackson Gear (Noisey) drive, Elderbrock performer dual plane manifold topped off with a Carter AFB 4barrel carb. A set of 3 peice Hookercustom headers for Mustang II to 2 3/4 pipes connecting to a couple of 2chamber flowmasters custom balanced flexplate,Tayler 8mm Leads, MSD coilmoved the battery to the back of the car, custom 3 core Arizona tube Radby "HANS RADIATOR" small case C4 with a stage 3 B&M shift kit, serpentine belt system (soon underdrive pulleys!) Flexalite Flexfan and much muchmore !!

(Tires)BF Goodrich TA's on the back and Goodyear Eagles on the front Lakewood Crome traction bars

(Interior) a set of 89 Mustang seats with Blue 5 point Racing belts, fire extinguisher, custom carbon fiber dash with airbrushed violet flames with Custom Cobra gauges, Grant GT steering wheel matching the black and grey interior.

I owe a lot of gratitude for the people being patient helpful and supportive throughout building my Machine. My Mom & Dad, brother Barry, nephew Rod, and Friend Jan, but it never will be done guys. lol
