I paid $800.00 for the car at a used car lot in downtown Omaha. It was beat up, but the factory V8 drew me in, and I thought it'd be a nice car to customize. I went through it once in Omaha, but I had to use it as a daily driver for several years and the weather took its toll. My last year there I pulled the engine and trans, had the engine bored .60 over, milled the heads, installed a performance cam, headers, mid-rise (Edelbrock Performer) intake and 500cfm Edelbrock carb. I had the tranny performance rebuilt. After I relocated to Florida I bought a MIG welder, flex grinder, and some body tools and tore the car down to nothing. I worked on it for several years. This is the final outcome. I put it in some of the local shows. It's the only Mustang II around here, and it draws a lot of interest.
