I bought my car almost 10 years ago (April 18 1988) for my 15th birthday. It was a shell and about 2 truck loads of parts that most people would have taken to the junk yard, but it was cheep and I wad no money so I bought it).

I finally made it driveable in november of 1992( it was plain blue with black interior and limo tinted windows, also had a 2.8 V6) I took her to minor shows in 93 but by the end of that year I got a bug to redo the stripes and replace some of the body parts that were mostly bondo (I live in northern Indiana) so I did.

After new doors, new fenders, and new hood I painted her blue again, bought the decal kit and had a local decal guy lay the stripes (she looked great). But it only lasted for a year because after the first show of the 95 season I cracked 2 rings and broke the crank.

Now she sits waiting for me to finish the 351w that is going in her this spring. I would like to drive her on the 10 year aniversery of the purchase date.
