If you have changed the size of the wheels/tires on your car to be different from the original factory equipment, then your speedometer has likely been less accurate. To compensate for this inacuracy, you can change the gear on the transmission end of the speedometer cable to compensate. Below is a a list of those small nylon gears (speedometer driven gear) that are currently available. Since each gear has a different tooth count, they can be used to bring your speedometer back to a more accurate reading.
Keep in mind these calculators are just for reference. Many of them depend on actual tire diameter. Diameters calculated on the calculators can be significantly different from actual diameters, as manufacturers dimensions varied significantly. To be sure of a calulation, you should use actual tire circumference and calulate back to diameter.

Use our handy calculator to find which gear best fits your application.
