The 2009 car show season has begun. As local clubs start to publish their show schedules for the year, please let us know. Take a look at our show schedule and add any more shows that you want to share with the Mustang II community to our calendar of events. As local clubs start to publish their 2008 show schedule, please let us know. Add it to our calendar of events so that others can learn about the event and attend. 3/3/2008 We've added many gallery entries in the last couple of months. Below are some of our recent additions. For those in northern areas, the season is drawing to an end. For those of you in the south, there is still plenty of time to attend a show or cruise. If you know of an upcoming show, please add it to our calendar of events so that others can learn about the event and attend. There are still a few upcoming shows listed, but more are always welcome. Earlier this month, we had the Annual Power Show at Mustangs Unlimited in CT sponsored by the Mustang Car Club of New England. We had an exceptional turnout of Mustang IIs. Please visit our show pics in our Past Meets area. If you attended a show this year, or will be attending one, please share photos and a story with us. Submissions can be sent via email to meets@mustangii.org 9/19/2007 Our photo gallery continues to grow. We have added a few new gallery entries over the summer. If you have not yet entered your car into our photo gallery, now is the time. If you would like to update your entry, please let us know! Below are some of our recent new additions. The car show season is once again upon us. Last week was Spring Carlisle and the swap meet field was full of vendors selling all manner of car related treasures. It was a beautiful weekend for a swap meet. I was able to pick up a new '77 Ghia Sport ad at the meet. We have started getting entries for our show schedule. 01/29/2006The Winter Doldrums are upon us. Now that we are in the dead of winter, it is time to do a little work and planning for the upcoming year. If you are restoring your car, you may want to look though the Tech section of this site. If you have anything you would like to contribute to our Tips-n-Tricks section, be sure to send it along so we can share it with everyone. If you are buying or selling parts, try our Classified section. And lastly, but certainly not least, be sure to tell us about any shows in your area that are coming up this show season. The more people know about events, the more likely to have a good Mustang II showing. I'm sure a lot of our visitors are attending car shows with their Mustang II or Pinto/Bobcat. If you attend a show with these cars in attendance and have pictures you would like to share, please send them in for publication in our "Meets" section. We've added an easy visual grill identification page. This page shows how to identify the year of a Mustang II by from the front grill. This is a quick and dirty way to id the year of a car that you may be passing on the highway or driving by on a street. 12/16/2004 Our Site Links page has been updated Frank has graciously updated our personal links page to remove dead links and add new ones that were in queue. 04/30/2004 Photos from the 40th anniversary show in Nashville are in. Frank Shannon, a longtime contributor and one of the early members of our "organization" attended the Mustang 40th anniversary celebration in Nashville and brought back some pictures of the Mustang IIs in attendance. 03/01/2004 - Meets and Gallery Updates The 2004 Show season is kicking off. Our first submission was sent in by Keith Craft: 17th Annual Mid Florida Mustang Roundup - Feb 21, 2004 There were a few new gallery entries submitted in February. 01/26/2004 - Recent Updates - Due to popular demand, I have updated several of the calculators in the Tech section to allow for Overdrive transmissions. With all of the trans swaps and restomods out there, I had received several requests and have updated the RPM, Speed, and Speedometer Gear calculators. - For reference purposes, I have compiled and published a Tire Speed Rating chart in our Tech section to assist in choosing new tires or decoding the specs on the tire sidewall. - I have added more to the Ads 'n Articles section, including a '78 "Go Mustang" ad. - We have had a lot of activity in our Photo Gallery since the beginning of the year, including convertibles, race and nice restorations. 11/6/2003 - Recent Updates - In our Tech area: Installing Factory AC In A Mustang II By Mike Patterson - In our Ads-n-Articles area: Part one: THE REBIRTH OF THE MUSTANG -- MT Sept 1973 09/09/2003 - The New England Mustang Nationals show pics have been updated. 06/23/2003 - Mustang Nationals are coming to New England OK all of you New England/Eastern Canada Mustang II owners. The Mustang Nationals are finally coming to New England. The show will be July 17-20 in Sturbridge MA. Be sure to register! More info on the show can be found at the Mustang Car Club of New England national show home page. 06/23/2003 - New Gallery entries. 06/18/2003 - Meets Update Check out the 2003 (and 2002) Carlisle All Ford Nationals. Both sections have been added. We may have more for the 2003 show, so stay tuned. If you have any photos/stories from shows meets or other MII owner gatherings that you would like to share, send them in and we'd be happy to publish them. 04/05/2003 - New T-Top article added. We've added a 1977 Motor Trend Brief Test to the ads-n-articles section for your enjoyment. 03/22/2003 - Site restoration is complete. Please report any broken links or other problems to webmaster@MustangII.org. 03/20/2003 - We are back! After being missing for about a week, we are back on-line. Unfortunately, we are still under construction restoring the site. Please be patient as we get all of the functions working again. We have migrated to a new hosting service (same site, same people) and need a few days to migrate all of our old functions. 12/12/2002 - Ever wonder what to do with a V-6 Mustang II? Well, back in 1974-1975, due to the initial introduction of the Mustang II without a V8, someone was thinking about what to do with the V-6. We all know about aftermarket intakes, timing sets, carbs, etc. But what would you think about a turbo V-6? Spearco Performance Products developed a solution that appeared in the January 1975 Road and Track. The article appears in our ads-n-articles section. 12/09/2002 - It is catch-up time. I finally got some of my old film developed, so I updated the May Mustangs Unlimited show and added in their annual Power Show that was held in September. It sure would be nice to get some more MustangII participation in these shows - so If you live in New England, New York, eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey, check out their site for show dates - they have 3 shows per year. These shows can be found in our Meets section. In addition, there have been 4 new Gallery entries in the last couple of weeks and updates to Daniel Gervais' recent entry.
11/20/2002 - See what is new! We've made several new additions to the Ads-N-Articles section. We've also had many new gallery entries from around the world, including 7 so far this month.
10/10/2002 - A horse thief (of sorts) is caught! A couple of years ago, one of our long-standing members was bitten by an internet car salesman that was selling classic Mustangs he didn't own. Well, he has finally been caught. US Dept. of Justice Press Release Well Done! Now if the victims can collect their money, things will be a bit better. 08/22/2002 We've recently expanded our Tech Info and Tools area to include 3 new components.

05/19/2002 Car Show Season has returned. The Car Show season is in full swing again and the first pics have started to come in. The first show of the year to appear here is the NE Region SAAC show. 05/14/02 The Missing MustangII has been found. Thanks to everyone who had their eyes open for the missing car listed below. The car has been retrieved, unfortunately with some fairly serious damage. 04/24/02 NOTICE! Due to a relocation of our hosting ISP that took a bit longer than anyone expected, we had been off-line for several weeks.
